Softball Home Run Show

Salem took on Alderson Broaddus on Wednesday The Tigers came into these games confident after beating Fairmont last week. The Tigers started off great in the first with Tori Lease hitting a home run to put Salem up one nothing. Salem would score again in the 3 rd and 4 th. In the third, Thea Cooper scored, and then in the 4 th Lakeisha Bowsman and Sam Gould both hit home runs This put Salem up 4 to zero. However AB came back with a big inning in the 5 th scoring 6 to make the score 4 to 6. In the 6 th inning, Salem and AB both hit the ball with Salem scoring 4, and Tori Lease hitting her second home run of the day. Then, AB came back and scored 3, and in the 7 th, Amber Russel hit a home run to tie the game 9 to 9. Neither team scored in the 8 th, but in the top of the 9 th, AB scored 4, but the Tigers could not produce anymore runs. AB took the first game 13 to 9. There were 8 home runs in that game, I do not believe I have ever seen that many in Baseball or softball.
