Scott Toothman started it off with a double then Jamie Shoemaker moved him over, and Hector Sanchez hit a 2 run home run to put Salem up 3 to 2. In the 6 th, WVWC came up and put two men on base but the Tigers kept them on base with Velasquez throwing three pop flies. The Tigers came to the plate in the bottom of the 6 th but could not produce runs. At the top of the 7 th, WVWC came to the plate and went down. Salem came to the plate, and the first two batters went down, but Jamie Shoemaker came up and hit a double to the fence to give the advantage to Salem. The next batter up was Hector Sanchez. They walked Hector, and next to bat was Kevin Demattos. Coach Hill Put Andrew Bell into Hit. The game went to nine innings where WVWC got 3 runs to win the game. WVWC won 6 to 3.
