| Two Great Games
Salem Softball
On Sunday, March 30 th, the Salem Softball team took on Shepherd University. In the first game, Shepherd was victorious, beating Salem 5 to 4 in the 9 th inning. In the second game, the Tigers came out hot with Wes Leffler hitting a 3 run home run to put the Tiger on top. But Shepherd came back and scored 3runs to tie the game in the 3 rd. The Tigesr would not score until the fifth inning when Elizabeth Garvin scored on a hit by Thea Cooper. In the Bottom of the ninth, Sheperd was up by three, but the Tigers could not pull It off and lost to Shepherd 8 to 5. The Tigers next game is on April 1 st, a makeup game vs. Seton Hill.
