Coach Tanner Hill is entering his 4th season as the head baseball coach at Salem International.
He received his Bachelors of Science degree from Salem International, majoring in Education with a specialization in Physical Education and Social Studies. He also completed his Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Salem.
Hill was a four-year starter and captain for the Tigers and played catcher. After his playing career, he was hired on as an Assistant Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach at SIU. Coah Hill then moved to Michigan where he worked with Kellogg Community College as an assistant coach. When given the chance to return to his alma mater as head coach, Hill jumped at the opportunity. Coach Hills brings with him a strong work ethic and a great knowledge of the game, two traits that are instilled in his players.
Hill is married and shares his great passion of baseball with his wife, Katrina. Together, they have two children (Gabriella and Garrett) who are Salem baseball's biggest fans.
