Tanner Hill , Head Coach, Men's Baseball
Coach Hill enters his first season as Head Baseball Coach of the tigers.He received his Bachelors of Science degree from Salem International University, Majoring in Education with a specialization in Physical education and social studies.Coach Hill was a four year starter and Captain for the Tigers at the all important catcher’s position.After his playing career was done, he was hired on as Assistant Coach and Head junior Varsity Coach of the Tigers. Coach Hill then moved to Michigan where he worked with Kellogg community college (Battle Creek) as an assistant coach.When given the chance to come back to his Alma Mater as a head coach, he jumped at the opportunity. Coach Hill brings with him a strong work ethic and great knowledge of the game, which will be instilled in his players.
Tanner is married and shares his great passion of baseball with his wife Katrina. On July 10, 2007, they welcomed their first child Gabriella Bridget. His family resides in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Coach Hill expects to field a highly competitive squad this upcoming season. Many good things are in store for the Salem University Tigers Baseball Club!
